The Federal Institute for Real Estate is responsible for the development, construction, letting, operation, maintenance and sale of federal real estate. We build for the future and strive for buildings that emit no CO2 and are barrier-free and accessible to all. In the Facility Management division, we are also promoting the expansion of the charging infrastructure for e-mobility and the use of resource-saving technologies such as serial construction.
These are your main tasks:
- You will be responsible for coordinating, managing and implementing the necessary parameters (e.g. preliminary planning for the site, inquiries with authorities, etc.) for commissioning serial construction.
- Your to-do list includes creating and checking the plausibility of plans, construction schedules, cost breakdowns and invoicing concepts, including deadline and cost control as well as quality management.
- You will compile and evaluate information for construction monitoring and reporting.
- The evaluation of the construction measures carried out and the identification of optimization potential are part of your daily work.
- As a contact person, you will be responsible for clarifying inquiries, for example from the press or interest groups.
- Your tasks will include the preparation of reports and decision papers.
Our work is mobile and flexible. Nevertheless, the post/workplace occasionally involves business trips of approx. 5 - 20 days a year, including throughout Germany. These business trips are always planned well in advance to ensure a good work-life balance.
What you bring with you:
Qualifications:
- You have a university degree (Diplom [FH]/Bachelor) with a construction background or with a business and/or real estate background or a comparable qualification.
Professional skills:
- Good knowledge and experience in project management are part of your profile.
- You have basic knowledge of public procurement law.
- You are confident in using IT applications (especially Word, Excel and Microsoft Project).
- You already have application knowledge of SAP or are willing to acquire this in the short term.
- Knowledge and experience in the field of (serial) construction or in the planning and implementation of construction measures would be an advantage.

- You enjoy familiarizing yourself with a variety of tasks.
