The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, which supports the real estate policy objectives of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Depending on the application situation, an above-tariff advance payment of steps and an additional temporary specialist allowance of up to 1,500 euros per month may be considered.
A monthly non-tariff allowance of 200 euros is granted for the position.
The department is responsible for supporting security authorities.
What are your main tasks?
- Operating technical building equipment systems, in particular communication, fire alarm, security and radio technology in compliance with technical standards and legal regulations
- Supporting the operating engineer in the performance of operator responsibilities
- Preparing external service and procurement orders, drawing up specifications for maintenance contracts and preparing tender documents
- Checking invoices and handling related correspondence
- Providing technical guidance and support to skilled workers during initial fault clearance and cyclical inspections
- Independently organizing, carrying out and monitoring maintenance, inspection and servicing work as well as rectifying difficult faults and damage to complex technical systems
- Supporting the operating engineer with new construction measures and building maintenance measures
- Support and assistance with legally required inspections and tests necessary for operation
- General office work
What do we expect?
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed training as a communications electronics technician (f/m/d), electronics technician (f/m/d) for information and telecommunications technology or for information and systems technology and
- Successfully completed further training as a state-certified technician (f/m/d) or master craftsman (f/m/d) in the field of electrical engineering or in a comparable field of specialization
Professional skills:
- Proven professional experience of several years in the areas of commissioning, service and operation of communication, fire alarm and security systems as well as good knowledge in the field of network technology is desirable
- Sound specialist knowledge in the field of fire alarm technology (Siemens), telecommunications, structured cabling, etc. is desirable
- Experience in technical operations management and in dealing with CAFM systems is desirable
- Ability and willingness to acquire basic knowledge in other TGA areas and to work across teams
- Good PC skills in standard operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Office.

- Thorough and careful way of working with high reliability
- Initiative and ability to work creatively and conceptually
- Good verbal and written communication skills, strong communication skills
- Customer/addressee-oriented behavior, strong and goal-oriented negotiating skills
- Willingness to be on call
- Willingness to undergo an extended security check with security investigation in accordance with § 10 SÜG
