The position is open-ended.
The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government’s real estate service provider, which supports the real estate policy objectives of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Depending on the application situation, an above-tariff advance grant of steps and an additional temporary specialist allowance of up to 1,500 euros per month may be considered.
A monthly non-tariff allowance of 200 euros is granted for the position.
The department is responsible for supporting security authorities.
What are your main tasks?
- Assisting with operator responsibility for the technical installations and systems in your area of responsibility, in particular measurement and control technology/building management systems
- Monitoring the implementation of maintenance and repair plans
- Obtaining and checking offers, preparing orders
- Support in the preparation of service specifications, compilation of quantities and masses
- Checking and accepting services from maintenance and repair companies, checking evidence and invoices
- Monitoring compliance with legal regulations in the maintenance, operation and inspection of technical systems
- Ensuring the smooth operation of a technical control room
- Organizing the management of immediate interventions with high urgency to restore operations, guiding and managing the functional team
- Instructing employees while observing and implementing health and safety requirements
What do we expect?
Qualification:
- successfully completed training as an electronics technician (f/m/d) for automation technology or comparable training as well as further training as a state-certified technician (f/m/d) or master craftsman (f/m/d) in the field of building automation or in a comparable field of study
Professional skills:
- Professional experience in the areas of commissioning, service and operation of automation/building control technology
- sound specialist knowledge in the installation and support of: Automation systems, heating, ventilation, sanitary, air conditioning (HVAC) and building management systems
- specialist knowledge of Desigo Insight, SICLIMAT and PX is particularly desirable
- Experience in technical operations management and working with CAFM systems is desirable
- sound PC skills in standard operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Office

- Initiative and ability to work creatively and conceptually
- good verbal and written communication skills, strong communication skills
- customer/addressee-oriented behavior, strong and goal-oriented negotiating skills
- Willingness to be on call
- Willingness to undergo an extended security check with security investigation in accordance with § 10 SÜG
