The Berlin Directorate is looking for two people to join the Facility Management division in Berlin as soon as possible:
Project Managers (Architects or Civil Engineers) (f/m/d)
for the independent implementation and realization of various construction projects in the areas of official properties (buildings and properties of the Federal Administration, cultural properties).

The position is open-ended.
The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, which supports the real estate policy objectives of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with over 7,000 employees and take care of a very broad and diverse real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and maintenance of natural areas of the federal government. Our Facility Management division builds, operates and manages a complex portfolio with exciting and diverse properties - from the ministries in Berlin and Bonn, federal courts and research facilities to the buildings of customs, the Federal Police, the Federal Armed Forces and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). In dialog with our customers, we are shaping the path to climate-neutral real estate management.

What are your main responsibilities?
- Project responsibility for the implementation of construction projects from € 6 million on complex properties, sometimes with demanding utilization concepts with and without construction management
- Project management in the field of building construction
- Technical and economic project management
- Technical management of the project team including issuing work orders to project members
- Ensuring project goals, adherence to costs, deadlines and quality, including risk management
- Performing the client:internal function from planning to handover of BImA construction measures
- Coordination and interface management with the construction administration - representing the owner and client vis-à-vis the construction and technical supervisory level of the construction administration or external project participants
- Creating the IPU (initial project document) and the FPU (final project document) in collaboration with the building administration or freelancers
- Coordination and interface management with the federal institutions using the project:
- Coordination of landlord and operator interests vis-à-vis the construction and technical supervisory level of the building administration or external project participants
What do we expect?
Qualifications:
- Completed technical (technical) university degree (Diploma [FH]/Bachelor) in the field of architecture or civil engineering
Professional skills:
- Sound experience in project management
- Several years of professional experience in the planning and implementation of prominent construction projects in all HOAI service phases
- Knowledge of the principles and regulations relating to public construction
- Knowledge of federal construction-specific guidelines, e.g. in the field of sustainable construction (Guideline for Sustainable Construction)
- General knowledge of facility management desirable
- Confident IT user skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project, industry-specific software); SAP knowledge desirable
