Your tasks
- Checking technical and construction-related supplements from construction companies and planning partners
- Control of the addendum review process
- Project-related contract management (contract administration)
- Contributing to the drafting of contracts and conducting negotiations
- Technical contract and risk analyses, interface clarifications
- Development of strategies and concepts for claim preparation and defense
- Participation in the preparation and defense of claims
- Supporting / advising project teams on contractual issues
- Strategic advice on the alignment of claims management
- Advice on project execution and procurement concepts
- Procedural support for public procurement procedures
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, preferably in architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on construction, or a degree in law (e.g. as a fully qualified lawyer, business lawyer, LL.B. or LL.M.), ideally with a focus on construction and architectural law or contract law and have a technical understanding
- Ideally several years of professional experience in contract and supplementary contract management and/or project supervision in the field of construction or infrastructure projects (e.g. as a supplementary contract manager, claim manager, contract manager, contract manager, project controller, project engineer or similar)
- Sound knowledge of the relevant regulations and contract principles in the construction industry, in particular BGB, VOB and HOAI
- Experience in analyzing, reviewing and evaluating construction contracts, supplements and project-related contract and project documentation and the ability to grasp complex issues in a structured manner and assign them to different construction and infrastructure projects
- A strong analytical and structured way of working, a high sense of responsibility and a confident use of common software tools, especially MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Very good written and spoken German as well as strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team and a confident manner when interacting with project participants
- Interest in interdisciplinary construction and infrastructure projects and willingness to work regularly at our site in Pforzheim
