Team leader (m/f/d) Purchasing for construction and planning services

You will be dedicated to the following tasks in particular:

• Head of purchasing for construction and planning services. Management and further development of a small team, in particular in the coordination, planning and handling of complex procurement processes (especially Europe-wide and national award procedures), conducting bidder discussions and negotiations in compliance with public procurement law, legal requirements and internal guidelines and specifications
• Technical and calculative plausibility checks/checks of service specifications, processing of supplements including negotiations as well as contact person for internal and external stakeholders during the contract period, in particular in the event of contract disruptions
• Identification and realization of savings, standardization and optimization potentials in coordination
• Advising and coordinating with internal stakeholders and process participants to optimize procurement processes and define procurement strategies and tactics
• Participation in the further development of supplier management, overarching trade and product group strategies and reporting

Professional:

• Completed studies (university of applied sciences or university) with a focus on civil engineering, architecture or comparable qualification as well as several years of relevant professional experience in the construction sector and/or in the purchasing of construction services or comparable qualification or several years of relevant professional experience
• Sound construction and commercial knowledge: very good knowledge of construction processes, materials, construction law, quality standards, contract law, cost calculation and controlling
• Experience in building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships
• Very good knowledge of relevant legal regulations (e.g. VOB/A and /B, BGB, GWB, HOAI) and the various phases/trades of construction projects
• Very good IT skills, especially in MS Office, SAP S4Hana and experience with current tendering tools
• very good German and good written and spoken English skills are required
