Commercial administration (m/f/d)
The town of Karben is located near Frankfurt am Main, in the southern part of the Wetterau district. With around 400 employees, Karben town council provides a wide range of services for its approximately 24,000 inhabitants.
The Municipal Real Estate Management (KIM) manages around 50 buildings (daycare centers, community centers, sports facilities, fire station buildings, etc.) and rents them out to the Karben municipal administration and external tenants. All tasks relating to the buildings are handled by KIM.
The Municipal Council of the City of Karben is looking for the following person to join the municipal enterprise Kommunales Immobilienmanagement Karben as soon as possible
Commercial clerk (m/f/d)
(part-time, 32 hours per week)
Field of activity:
Bookkeeping
- Processing and posting/accounting of incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts payable/accounts receivable)
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing payments
- Creating and posting invoice instructions (for services to third parties)
- Account maintenance and clarification for debtors and creditors (creation and processing of reminders)
- Support with the annual financial statements
Real estate management
- Rental of municipal rooms and event spaces (coordination of occupancy dates, conclusion of contracts and invoicing, coordination with janitors, correspondence, etc.)
- Management / maintenance of rental contracts with the city and external tenants (change of tenant, rent changes, etc.). Tenant support
- Management and maintenance of rental property data with the ekom21 Facility Management module LuGM (property and building management) and the new Capitol program
- Implementation of apportionment and ancillary cost accounting (heating and operating costs, special agreements with associations, etc.)
- Administration of EVU (energy supply company) contracts
Assistance and general office work
- Preparatory work for the operating committee (templates, invitations)
- Assistance for the two operations managers (correspondence, appointments, invoicing, document management)
Requirements profile:
For this job we require
- completed commercial vocational training or
- Training as an administrative employee
Advantageous are:
- Professional experience in the area of responsibility
- confident handling of the common MS Office programs
- Experience with operating and ancillary cost accounting (from the real estate industry)
- Knowledge of the Datev program
- Knowledge of the Capitol program for recording and calculating operating and ancillary cost accounting
- Knowledge of the municipal administration system ekom21 and its facility management software LuGM
