We are looking for you for the Property Office of the City of Stuttgart. The position is open-ended.

The Property Office is currently responsible for the management of approx. 1,600 buildings. This includes a wide-ranging portfolio of daycare centers, office buildings, assembly facilities, fire department buildings, bunker facilities, residential buildings, halls of residence, libraries and other types of use. The commercial and technical focal points are correspondingly diverse.

A job that inspires you

• As a property manager, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of a portfolio of rental apartments with some commercial units, some of which are listed buildings
• You are the contact person for tenants, tradespeople and other service providers
• Complete rental management from A-Z including tenant changes, contract preparation, review and adjustment of rents, assessment and processing of all tenancy law issues and correspondence with tenants
• Implementation and commissioning of revitalization measures as well as renovations and refurbishments of vacant properties for re-letting; refurbishment projects (partly listed) in existing properties and to create additional living space
• Survey of maintenance requirements, survey of structural deficits, creation of renovation roadmaps
• Application of public procurement law and HOAI in the context of cooperation with planners and architects

Your profile that suits us

• A degree (Bachelor's/Diploma) in real estate management, real estate economics, public management or an alternative comparable university degree or
• Real estate specialist (IHK) or alternatively a comparable qualification with equivalent skills and several years of professional experience in the real estate industry
• Confident handling of all common MS Office programs
• Strong determination and results orientation, independence, sense of responsibility and reliability
• Confident in dealing with customers and contractual partners, good negotiating skills and assertiveness
