The position will start on November 1, 2026 for an indefinite period (permanent employment contract).
What are your main tasks?
Technical construction support for project management for new buildings, conversions and extensions here: Coordination of civil engineering measures in connection with federal housing construction with demanding technical, economic and building law requirements, etc.
- Independent processing or support of the project management in controlling the process flows of a construction project in work phases 1 to 9 of the HOAI or control of external specialist planners for the area of civil engineering in new construction, renovation and infrastructure measures
- Support in the selection and commissioning of freelancers
- Support in coordinating with approval authorities and support in obtaining the necessary building permits
- Support in the formulation of requirements, inventory and creation of planning bases, schedules and objectives
- Preparation of service descriptions, tenders and decision papers
- Preparation of/participation in economic feasibility studies
- Assisting with ongoing budget control, including monitoring project costs
- Support with coordination with all network suppliers and contractual processing
- Preparation and monitoring of tenders and awards Preparation of/support with award decisions
- Support in managing the construction process, ensuring project goals, adherence to costs, deadlines and quality standards
- Support in performing the client function and coordinating all project participants
- Conducting/supporting planning and construction meetings and supervising defect management
- Supervision and control/support of supplementary contract management
- Support with the technical acceptance of all project services, identification of defects and their rectification, identification of outstanding services after completion and monitoring the execution of these services
- Support with the handover of the completed work to the residential division or third parties
- Support in processing and deciding on individual construction-related issues of particular importance
- Providing expert opinions and technical review of contracts, offers and invoices
- regular reporting to the head office
What do we expect?
Qualifications:
- Completed university degree (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) in the fields of architecture with a focus on civil engineering, civil engineering with a focus on civil engineering or comparable courses of study
Professional skills:
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the project development of development and residential construction measures, e.g. in the field of new construction, conversion and extension measures, in particular in the planning, awarding, implementation and management of development and building construction projects
- Practical experience in working as a civil engineer/architect, in particular in construction supervision in cooperation with public/private utility network operators and municipal civil engineering offices
- Very good knowledge of all relevant civil engineering and public law regulations, standards and implementation rules for civil engineering, development facilities and in building construction/residential buildings (e.g. HOAI, VOB, VOL/B, VHB, UVgO, VgV, BauOBln, BbgBO, BauGB, BauNVO, DIN, BFR GBestand, WHG, BBodSchG) as well as the requirements for sustainable construction and the GEG
- Knowledge and ability to independently carry out profitability calculations
- Very good IT user skills (e.g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project) as well as other industry-specific software if required
