Senior Technical Asset Manager / Real Estate Manager (m/f/d)
for the regions / with office location: Munich, Stuttgart

HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG is the real estate asset and investment manager of the HanseMerkur Insurance Group. We are pursuing an ambitious growth strategy and are looking for employees who would like to use their know-how and ideas to further strengthen our team.

Your tasks

  • You will work with a high degree of autonomy and be responsible for the technical asset management of a high-quality real estate portfolio in the southern region
  • You will support acquisition and sales activities
  • You will support the technical transfer of properties from project development to the portfolio
  • You create and monitor the technical property strategies and budget planning
  • You will independently design and implement various projects and construction measures (e.g. rental space extensions and refurbishments, maintenance measures, etc.)
  • You select, manage and monitor external technical service providers (e.g. property managers, contractors, experts, specialist planners, etc.)
  • You work closely with the internal specialist departments (commercial asset management, regional management, legal, controlling)
  • You are technically responsible for the strategic and sustainable development of a long-term, successful real estate portfolio

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in architecture / civil engineering or comparable studies
  • Several years of professional experience in technical real estate management in various asset classes
  • Ideally, you have an existing network of regional service providers
  • Desirable: experience in value-add projects
  • Sound technical construction expertise and good knowledge of the relevant regulations (HOAI, VOB, AHO, etc.)
  • Knowledge of warranty management and operator responsibility (GEFMA 190) as well as ESG is an advantage
  • Confident handling of the coordination of project participants and management of external service providers
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, pronounced quality awareness and good IT skills (iX Haus Plus, common Office applications, etc.)
