As a project manager at IPH, you will be responsible for pioneering revitalization projects for shopping centers and retail properties - from the initial idea to the successful handover to the tenant. Your tasks:
- holistic project management of revitalization, conversion and tenant fit-out projects in retail properties across all performance and AHO action areas (costs, deadlines, qualities, contracts, risks, communication)
- Management of internal and external stakeholders, specialist planners (architecture, technical building services, structural engineering, fire protection), executing trades, center/property managers, tenants and authorities
- Creation and updating of cost and schedule plans (DIN 276, MS Project), contract award and supplement management
- Organization of approval processes (in particular fire protection, changes of use) as well as quality assurance, acceptance and commissioning during ongoing operations
- careful technical risk assessment, tenant fit-outs, CAPEX planning and ESG-oriented prioritization of measures (Building Energy Act GEG, energy efficiency, user comfort)
- Structured project documentation and management reporting (budget, milestones, risks)
- Involvement in location and space concepts as well as tenant discussions incl. letting interface for on-time tenant handover
Your profile:
- degree in civil engineering, architecture, technical building services or a comparable qualification
- at least 5 years of experience in project management (client representation), ideally in existing/building construction of retail properties; experience in the retail, logistics or mixed-use environment is an advantage
- confident in HOAI, AHO, VOB/B, DIN 276; practiced in award, contract and supplementary management
- Strong communication and assertiveness, structured way of working, solution-oriented mindset and high service orientation towards owners and tenants
- confident handling of project tools (MS Project, Office, CDE/BIM collaboration desirable)
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany (project-specific)
- strong communication skills to negotiate effectively with tenants, architects and construction companies
- strong organizational talent and an analytical approach to coordinate complex projects
- Ability to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team to manage collaboration between internal and external partners
