The Koblenz Directorate is seeking, for the Facility Management division at the Wiesbaden location, effective January 1, 2027,

Master Craftsman or Electrical Technician (f/m/d)
The position is permanent under the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector (TVöD Bund) in pay grade 9b.
Monthly (gross) salary: €3,833.50 to €5,297.75 (depending on professional experience)
Responsibilities
What are your main responsibilities?
ï‚· You monitor the smooth operation of the systems in the Technical Control Center, which includes, in particular, the low- and medium-voltage power supply systems
ï‚· You monitor the technical systems using the building management system (BMS) and operate various BMS systems as well as the fire alarm system management system while working in shifts (24/7 coverage)
ï‚· Your responsibilities include analyzing the status and alarm messages from the BMS systems with a focus on targeted fault and malfunction resolution
ï‚· You will minimize risks and resolve issues through troubleshooting measures and minor
maintenance work on the operational systems, particularly on the power supply,
emergency power, UPS, and large battery systems;
ï‚· You are also responsible for supervising external contractors during maintenance and repair work;
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed a master craftsman’s examination or technical training in electrical engineering
or hold a comparable qualification in electrical engineering (m/f/d)
Professional Skills:
ï‚· In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, and measurement and control technology
ï‚· Proficiency in standard IT applications (MS Office)
Additional requirements:
ï‚· Ability to work independently, thoroughly, and in a goal-oriented manner, even during periods of high workload
ï‚· Respectful communication style and a proactive and flexible approach to work
ï‚· Good judgment, combined with a willingness to make decisions and take responsibility
ï‚· Willingness to work shifts and physical fitness for shift work
 Driver’s license with Class B/3 authorization to operate company vehicles
 Completion of a security clearance in accordance with the Federal Security Clearance Act (SÜG), the successful completion of which is a prerequisite for filling the position.
 Class B/3 driver’s license, as well as willingness to travel on business and to drive company vehicles
