Deputy Head of Real Estate Investments (m/f/d)

The Family Office of Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Loh (L & L Family Office) is a single family office responsible for the holistic management of complex family assets in the areas of corporate investments and private equity, real estate (with its own property developer) and liquid investments (shares/bonds).

We are looking for a committed and strategically-minded person to take on responsibility for a challenging and varied real estate portfolio as Real Estate Manager and Deputy Head of Department (m/f/d) at our Haiger location. Deputy Head of Real Estate Investments (m/f/d)

• Representation & support of the department management in all organizational and technical matters
• Ensuring the technical and commercial performance of a mixed real estate portfolio (residential, office, retail, mixed-use, commercial)
• Managing external property managers (incl. targets, jour-fixe and escalation management)
• Reporting & analytics (monthly reporting, budget responsibility, contract/deadline management)
• Acquisition & valuation (due diligence support and DCF/investment calculations)
• Communication & interface management with management, owners, finance and service providers

• Real estate economist (IRE|BS, DIA or similar), bachelor's/master's degree in real estate management, architecture, civil engineering, technical building services, facility management or technical training with further training in real estate management
• Extensive professional experience of several years in administration/asset-related management of mixed portfolios as well as proven construction management/project management experience in refurbishments/modernizations
• Practical experience in due diligence and DCF/investment calculations and the management of external property managers (SLA/KPI-based)
• Transaction expertise and strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Quick comprehension, structured and goal-oriented hands-on mentality, ability to familiarize yourself with complex issues and prepare them for decision-making
• Absolute integrity, reliability and trustworthiness
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel
