Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

As part of our Real Estate team in Frankfurt am Main, you will help shape how real estate becomes more sustainable, energy-efficient, and future-proof. You will support corporations, property owners, real estate buyers, and the public sector in developing decarbonization and ESG strategies for real estate portfolios, identifying energy-efficiency measures, and evaluating their costs. You will also collaborate with our clients on studies addressing future-oriented topics such as renewable energy, geothermal energy, hydrogen, and charging infrastructure. In doing so, you will take on a variety of tasks:

  • You will validate building energy performance metrics (building and systems engineering) and fill in missing values based on your expertise.
  • You will identify energy efficiency measures to achieve a target energy performance level, evaluate their costs, and translate them into a practical renovation roadmap.
  • In addition, you will contribute to high-profile studies, prepare proposals and client presentations, provide technical support to project managers, and develop your own initial go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

Your Skills

  • You hold an above-average college degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in industrial engineering with a focus on energy-efficient construction, civil engineering, energy engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
  • You have initial practical professional experience in energy-efficient building consulting at an engineering firm, in the real estate industry, or in corporate real estate departments; ideally, you have initial experience in energy balancing according to DIN 18599 for non-residential and residential buildings and are a BAFA-certified energy consultant.
  • You critically evaluate facts, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills in German (min. C1) and English, are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint), and have a strong affinity for IT, including programming skills.

Your Mindset

  • Agile:You believe that a flexible mindset is just as important for success as knowledge and skills.
  • Curious:You are ambitious and dedicated. We are looking for people who think in terms of opportunities rather than challenges and find better solutions by asking targeted questions.
  • Team-oriented: You value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in a team. We are looking for people who want to achieve something together with us and create a trusting work environment.
