Strategic Buyer in Technical Facility Management (TGM) (f/m/d)
The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate company, which supports the real estate policy goals of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with over 7,000 employees and take care of a very broad and diverse real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and maintenance of natural areas of the federal government. For these varied and responsible tasks, we are looking for innovative minds who think and act sustainably.
In the Purchasing department, we procure all the products and services that BImA needs, from game coolers and service vehicles to security services and energy. We focus on innovation and sustainability. We actively monitor market developments and advise the specialist departments throughout the entire tendering process.
That's why we need you! Join BImA with us!
TGM's diverse and varied spectrum includes, for example, maintenance services for heating supply, electrical and lightning protection systems (maintenance, inspection, repair), the operation of technical systems and TGM operator services for large properties across all product groups.
What you do with us:
- Analyze and plan: You will gain an overview of the long-term requirements in the technical building management (TGM) product groups you are responsible for, keep an eye on the associated procurement market and its development and provide support with process planning.
- Think strategically: You will identify risks at an early stage, design forward-looking solutions and use these to develop procurement strategies for the product groups for which you are responsible.
- Competent advice: When preparing the necessary tender documents, you will work closely with your colleagues in the specialist divisions and advise them on all tender-related issues relating to the procurement of technical facility management services.
- Contribute your expertise: You will support the awarding office in the technical evaluation of the bids received and in answering questions from bidders.
Our work is mobile and flexible. Nevertheless, the post/workplace occasionally involves business trips, including throughout Germany. These business trips are always planned well in advance to ensure a good work-life balance.
What you bring to the table:
- Education: You have a university degree (Diploma [FH]/Bachelor) in Facility Management, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge and experience: You have knowledge and experience in the application of public procurement law (national and EU-wide procedures) and have already proven yourself in the creation or preparation of tender documents.
- Know-how: You are well-versed in real estate management, ideally in the technical management of properties, and have knowledge of contract law and business management.
- Digital skills: You are fit in the use of common office applications in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word), work continuously on the further development of your digital skills and have a positive attitude towards the use of digital tools in purchasing.
- Personality: You impress us with your high sense of responsibility, diligence and ability to work in a team. You also have a structured and independent way of working and are highly service-oriented.
What you can expect from us:
- An open-ended employment contract in a committed team and an interesting range of tasks.
