We are looking for you for the Real Estate Office of the City of Stuttgart. The position is to be filled from 01.06.2026 and is open-ended.
The Real Estate Management department of the Real Estate Office is currently responsible for the management of over 1,600 buildings. This includes a wide-ranging portfolio of daycare centers, office buildings, libraries, music schools, places of assembly, administrative, fire department and residential buildings, halls of residence and other types of use. The commercial and technical focal points are correspondingly diverse.
A job that inspires you
- You will be responsible for determining requirements and awarding all services for the following contract types: Service contracts for cleaning, winter maintenance, outdoor cleaning, janitor services, building security and relocation
- Your tasks will include the technical review of tender documents, checking all specifications, filing formulas and plausibility checks, finalizing tender documents, carrying out property inspections with companies, checking and evaluating bids received, requesting references, awarding contracts, documentation/award documents, rejection letters and award notifications
- Processing for the administration of concluded contracts is also part of your tasks
- Quality and complaints management
- Invoice processing
- You will actively contribute to the planning and coordination of internal and external transportation and removals of all kinds

Your profile that suits us
- Completed training as an administrative assistant or a completed first examination in accordance with the pay scale (VKA, formerly Employee Training Course I) or
- Completed training as an office management clerk, real estate clerk or comparable training that qualifies you for the above-mentioned activities
- Knowledge of public procurement law (in particular VOL and VOB), purchasing and sales is desirable
- Experience in at least some of the key areas listed above as well as experience in real estate administration or facility management is desirable
- Good IT skills are a prerequisite
- Good oral and written communication skills in the German language
- Strong communication, team and conflict management skills as well as the willingness to carry out field work in Stuttgart
