The position is open-ended.

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate company, which supports the real estate policy objectives of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. What are your main responsibilities?

  • You will take the lead in processing individual housing administration cases, including higher-level matters (e.g. from the parliamentary arena or of particular importance to BImA).
  • You will use your expertise to process parliamentary inquiries and inquiries from the highest federal and state authorities and report to the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, the Administrative Board, the Petitions Committee, etc.
  • You will be responsible for complaints and quality management for BImA's housing stock. This includes collating complaints statistics and reviewing the measures taken.
  • You will also be involved in working groups/project groups on contract and property management.

Our work is mobile and flexible. Nevertheless, the post/workplace occasionally involves business trips of around one to five days a year, including throughout Germany. These business trips are always planned well in advance to ensure a good work-life balance.

What do we expect?

Qualifications:

  • You have a university degree (Diplom [FH]/Bachelor), preferably in real estate management or business administration related to real estate, or a comparable qualification.

Professional skills:

  • You have sound knowledge and practical experience in the field of property management with a focus on residential property management.
  • You have very good knowledge of tenancy law.
  • You are confident in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable.

  • You have a thorough and careful way of working with a high level of reliability.
  • You have initiative and the ability to work conceptually.
  • You work independently and in a goal-oriented manner, even with an increased workload.
  • You have good written and spoken communication skills.
  • You have the ability to work in a team and are both critical and socially competent.
