Part-time Accountant (m/f/d) – 20 hours per week

To fulfill this responsibility in the long term, we pool our expertise: As Germany’s largest public-sector pension group, we jointly manage the operations of twelve occupational and municipal pension funds that provide old-age, disability, and survivor benefits to their insured members. In addition to serving over two million insured members and pension recipients, our core tasks include the profitable and secure investment of our pension funds’ assets. We draw on 100 years of experience in this regard.

Your Responsibilities

  • Account assignment and posting of day-to-day business transactions and monthly account reviews.
  • Quarterly closing of clearing accounts in connection with cost accounting.
  • Assistance in preparing annual financial statements and business plans.
  • Responsibility for, management of, and processing of payment transactions.
  • Assisting with monthly advance VAT returns and annual tax returns.
  • Assistance with testing during the implementation of new software versions.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset accounting (Access database).
  • Preparing statistical reports.

Your Profile

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship in banking, finance, or insurance, or an apprenticeship as a tax clerk (m/f/d).
  • You have several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, or taxation.
  • You have strong SAP FI and MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • You are highly motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • You have a quick grasp of new concepts and work in a goal-oriented, independent, and precise manner, with strong teamwork skills.
