The Berlin Directorate is looking for two Facility Management New Buildings (FN) in Berlin for the management of official properties of the supreme federal authorities with immediate effect or as soon as possible:

The position is open-ended.

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, which supports the real estate policy objectives of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with over 7,000 employees and take care of a very broad and diverse real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and maintenance of natural areas of the federal government. Our Facility Management division builds, operates and manages a complex portfolio with exciting and diverse properties - from the ministries in Berlin and Bonn, federal courts and research facilities to customs buildings, the Federal Police, the Federal Armed Forces and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). In dialog with our customers, we are shaping the path to climate-neutral real estate management.

Depending on the application situation, an above-tariff advance payment of steps and an additional temporary specialist allowance of up to 1,500 euros per month may be considered.

What are your main tasks?

  • Ensuring operator responsibility for the entire technical operation and operational safety of the systems as well as compliance with applicable regulations, if necessary in coordination with the electrical specialist with overall responsibility and the occupational health and safety and fire protection officers for buildings and properties of the Federal Agency for Real Estate and various rented properties
  • Managing, monitoring and controlling the technical service providers in Technical Facility Management (TGM)
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating measures to ensure the smooth and proper operation of technical building equipment
  • Improvement and/or renewal of technical systems as well as planning and further development of maintenance processes
  • Creating specifications and service descriptions for the preparation and implementation of national and Europe-wide tenders
  • Performing the client function for all construction measures at the TGM, including warranty management, documentation and reporting
  • Monitoring and controlling the economic efficiency of technical facilities as well as creating and updating concepts for the management and optimization of technical building equipment

What do we expect?

Qualifications:

  • completed technical (technical) university education (Diploma [FH]/Bachelor) in the field of building, electrical or supply engineering, technical facility management or in a comparable course of study or a comparable qualification (e.g. state-certified technician [f/m/d] with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience)

Professional skills:

  • several years of professional experience in the field of technical building management/technical facility management desirable
  • Knowledge of the relevant regulations and standards (e.g. Industrial Safety Ordinance, GEFMA, AMEV, DIN, RBBau, HOAI, VOB, VOL)
  • IT user knowledge for Word and Excel, Outlook, SAP knowledge is desirable
  • basic knowledge of business and real estate management

  • confident appearance, goal-oriented action
  • strong customer orientation
  • Willingness to undergo an extended security check in accordance with § 9 SÜG (Security Check Act)
