To support the three basic missions of the church in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, there is an independent asset-managing foundation for each: the Bishop Arbeo Foundation (aim: promoting education), the St. Antonius Foundation (aim: promoting service to others, Caritas) and the St. Korbinian Foundation (aim: promoting the fulfillment of the third basic mission, the liturgy and parish life). The foundations promote charitable causes and projects in the church and society, thereby making a significant contribution to social welfare and cohesion in our society. In managing our investments and promoting social causes, we pay attention to long-term thinking, sustainability and a focus on the common good. As a consultant for administrative real estate management, you will support the management in looking after around 400 residential and office properties as well as around 350 heritable building rights in the city of Munich. In doing so, you will make an important contribution to ensuring that our foundations can carry out these tasks professionally and sustainably.
Your tasks:
Real estate management for directly held real estate portfolio
- Preparation of well-founded profitability analyses over the entire life cycle of individual properties
- Responsibility for monitoring and adjusting rental agreements and heritable building rights
- Managing and monitoring external service providers, in particular property management companies, and coordinating all commercial and administrative tasks in this context
- Preparation and follow-up of purchase and sales negotiations, support of the management on all types of property transactions as a trusted advisor
- Independent implementation of controlling including reporting, budget planning and monitoring, ensuring coordinated interaction between external financial accounting, property management and internal departments.
- Supervision of ongoing legal matters in the real estate sector
- Contact person for leasehold offices
- Development of process definitions for tasks in administrative real estate management
Supporting the management with
- Valuation, review and calculation of framework data for real estate investments, both in the area of direct investments and purchase proposals for the funds in which the foundations are invested
- Preparation of investment and comparative calculations and presentations
- Commercial support for management in construction projects (refurbishment measures and new construction projects)
- Development and implementation of an ESG strategy for the directly held portfolio
- Contact person for external fund managers on ESG-related issues and the further development of meaningful ESG reporting
Your requirements profile
- bachelor's degree in business administration or a comparable qualification (e.g. real estate specialist, industrial specialist, business specialist, banking specialist)
- relevant professional experience in asset management, fund management or investment management
- very good market knowledge and enjoyment of personal development
- strong sense of responsibility, organizational talent, assertiveness
- comprehensive commitment, high level of initiative and willingness to perform
