- Many years of sound experience in accounting, group accounting or in an auditing/tax consulting environment; ideally: completed tax consultant exam
- Very good understanding of HGB and tax contexts
- HGB consolidated financial statement experience an advantage
- Hands-on approach and sense of responsibility in day-to-day business
- Interest in process improvements and digitalization

We are looking for
As Head of Accounting & Tax (f/m/d) , you will manage the ECKPFEILER Group’s accounting team from a professional and disciplinary perspective – and have plenty of scope for strategic impetus, process optimization and further development of our financial landscape.
Your main tasks
- Independent collaboration in the day-to-day accounting business (including Datev postings)
- Active participation in monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Responsibility for payment transactions and liquidity movements
- Support for tax structuring and transactions
- Coordination of external tax consultants and auditors
- Technical and disciplinary management of a small team (2-3 employees)
- Further development of processes, systems and automation (incl. AI tools)
