THIS IS YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Providing legal support for store expansion, in particular reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial leases for store locations in Germany and abroad
- Advising the expansion, construction and real estate management departments on all real estate law issues
- Legal review, drafting and support in the negotiation of contracts
- Legal support for projects, particularly in construction and real estate law
- Development of practical legal solutions, both independently and as part of a team
- Enforcement of claims and defense against unjustified claims
- Legal support, in particular for existing tenancies, especially in the event of contractual disruptions and adjustment requirements
- Preparation of legal opinions and statements
- Collaboration in the further development of contract templates and standards
- Legal review of submissions from the relevant business units to the management
- Legal advice and training for employees in the specialist departments
WHAT YOU NEED
- A fully qualified lawyer* who has successfully passed the first and second state law exams with at least a satisfactory grade
- Several years of relevant professional experience in real estate law, ideally in the area of commercial leases / retail
- Sound experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong understanding of economic interrelationships and the ability to clearly structure complex issues
- Goal orientation, commitment and a high degree of initiative
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
