For various branches, we are seeking—for a minimum of three months, orsix monthsif desired—dedicated students of economics, engineering, architecture, or civil engineering for aninternship in the Design&Constructiondepartment.
Responsibilities
As an intern and a full-fledged team member, you’ll gain an understanding of the entire real estate cycle at our firm: from preliminary analysis, acquisition, and asset management to project development, sales, and investment processes. You’ve chosen a specialization during your studies—together with you, we’ll find projects where you can successfully apply your knowledge.
- You’ll support us on projects from construction planning through obtaining building permits to final inspection and handover to tenants or buyers.
- You’ll also help ensure all work on-site is completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards, and you’ll shadow our technical investment managers.
- Coordination of all trades and subcontractors: Together with internal experts, you’ll tackle construction projects, review bid documents, participate in negotiations and contract awards, and oversee the execution of any additional work and defect rectification.
- For our asset management properties and project developments, you will work closely with internal teams and external service providers and also take on administrative tasks in certain areas.
- We also rely on your input when preparing contracts.
Qualifications
- You are currently pursuing a degree in a technical or business field, such as industrial engineering, real estate management, civil engineering, or architecture, and are about to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- You have gained some initial work experience, for example through internships, and ideally in the construction or real estate industry.
- You are proficient in using standard Office programs.
- You have an interest in the real estate business—you approach new areas of responsibility in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
- You have strong communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in both German and English.
- Initiative, reliability, and team spirit round out your profile.
