Commercial project manager for urban development & funding management
Implementing projects of structural policy importance, laying the foundations for the dynamic development of a modern business and technology location - these are the tasks of Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft Thüringen mbH. We develop, open up and market commercial sites, support municipalities in regional cooperation and work with cities and districts on urban development and urban redevelopment. As part of our business development activities, we provide a full service to attract investors to Thuringia as a business location, accompany Thuringian companies to economically interesting markets abroad and operate Thuringia marketing.
For the Urban Development team in our Urban and Regional Development department, we are looking for a full-time (39 h/week) or part-time (≥ 30 h/week) permanent position from 01.07.2026 as part of a succession plan:n
commercial:n project manager:in.
In this position, you will be actively involved in shaping challenging urban development projects. You will be responsible for the economic management of urban development measures in accordance with the German Building Code (BauGB) - together with an interdisciplinary team of urban planners and landscape planners.
Your tasks:
- Preparation and updating of cost and financing plans for urban development and urban redevelopment projects
- Processing funding applications including coordination with potential funding providers
- providing commercial support for projects throughout the entire funding process - from the application to the call for funds to the verification of use of funds
- Assisting with contract awards and checking planning documents for costs, plausibility and eligibility for funding
Your profile
- commercial or real estate studies or comparable qualification
- Experience in project and funding management as well as in procurement procedures
- very good financial understanding and knowledge of contracts and construction
- confident handling of relevant legal bases (BauGB, VOB, HOAI etc.)
- Experience in dealing with clients, ministries and authorities
- very good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Driving license class B
