The position is open-ended.

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate company, which supports the real estate policy goals of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with over 7,000 employees and take care of a very broad and diverse real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and maintenance of natural areas of the federal government. The Internal Audit & Governance department reviews our work processes and develops proposals for their optimization. In addition, the topics of compliance and secret protection offer an equally exciting field of work.

What are your main tasks?

  • Processing audit-related internal audit matters, in particular business management issues
  • Preparation and implementation of business audit projects - also as head of an internal audit project team - using various software such as SAP or ARIS
  • Checking the plausibility of accounting data using the IDEA audit software
  • Preparation of audit reports
  • Assisting with measures to prevent corruption and sponsorship as part of the audit-related work

Our work is mobile and flexible. Nevertheless, the post/workplace frequently involves business trips (more than 20 days), including throughout Germany. These business trips are always planned well in advance to ensure a good work-life balance.

What do we expect?

Qualifications:

  • Completed university degree (Diploma [FH]/Bachelor) in business administration, real estate or forestry or comparable qualification

Professional skills:

  • Sound knowledge of organizational theory
  • Basic understanding of the tasks of the Federal Agency for Real Estate and their legal basis
  • Business management expertise and practical experience desirable
  • Application knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Application knowledge of SAP R/3, ARIS and possibly IDEA or the willingness to acquire this knowledge in the short term
