Due to strong growth in Germany, we are seeking, on an exclusive basis for our client, anAsset & Investment Manager for Retail & Shopping Centers (m/f/d) in the Rhine-Ruhr region. You will be part of a dedicated, collaborative, and interdisciplinary team within an entrepreneurial, internationally active organization.
Role
- Comprehensive responsibility for the strategic and operational asset management of retail and shopping centers
- Development, implementation, and ongoing updating of business plans to ensure sustainable value growth of the assets
- Conducting profitability analyses, cash flow models, and scenario analyses to serve as a basis for decision-making regarding investment and divestment measures
- Management and oversight of external service providers and consultants
- Initiating and overseeing repositioning, refurbishment, and leasing strategies
- Analysis of market, location, and tenant data to derive strategic measures
- Preparation of well-founded reports, KPIs, and decision-making documents for internal committees and investors
- Participating in due diligence, business case reviews, and exit strategies
- Close coordination with various internal and external stakeholders (including private equity investors, construction management, leasing, and marketing)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in asset management for retail centers or shopping centers, ideally in an investor-driven environment
- Very strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as a strong aptitude for numbers
- Extensive experience in modeling business plans, cash flows, and investment analyses
- A structured, independent, and results-oriented approach to work
- Confident demeanor and strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel and common reporting and analysis tools
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
