With around 90,000 participants and 120 employees, the Baden-Württembergische Versorgungsanstalt für Ärzte, Zahnärzte und Tierärzte (BWVA) is one of the largest professional pension funds in Germany. To fulfill its purpose, the pension fund has an investment portfolio of almost 19 billion euros. Around EUR 2 billion of this is accounted for by a globally oriented and diversified indirect real estate portfolio.

Your entry into the world of global real estate investments
Have you successfully completed your studies and want to get to know the international investment world from the ground up? Then you've come to the right place. As an Analyst (m/f/d) in Indirect Real Estate Investment, you will be part of a dedicated team working in a dynamic, international environment - with the aim of shaping sustainable real estate strategies for the future. You will gain insight into all relevant asset classes and quickly develop into a competent contact person (m/f/d) in portfolio management.
What you can expect:
- You will analyze international real estate markets and identify new trends and opportunities at an early stage
- You will evaluate target funds and direct investments - economically, strategically and ESG-oriented
- You will actively contribute your own ideas by developing scenarios and profitability calculations
- You will take responsibility for due diligence processes and the preparation of decision-relevant documents, among other things
- You will also be involved in the further development of our portfolio management systems, particularly with regard to sustainability and ESG
- As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will be in direct contact with fund managers, external partners and internal departments
What you bring with you
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics, ideally with a focus on real estate, finance or controlling
- Ideally, you have practical experience in portfolio management or investment as well as with common investment vehicles (e.g. through internships, a working student position or a thesis)
- You enjoy working analytically, think entrepreneurially and are keen to take on responsibility in our team
- You have a solid command of English and are comfortable working in an international environment
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel - initial experience with VBA or analysis tools is a plus
