About ScaleIM
ScaleIM is a Berlin-based investment manager - embedded in a group of companies with around 1.5 billion euros in real estate and investment assets under management.
We offer institutional investors access to attractive real estate investments, in particular through structured joint ventures and comparable investment vehicles. We currently manage real assets worth around EUR 350 million for international institutional investors.
As part of a strategic relaunch, we are expanding our business approach and positioning ourselves as a fully integrated platform for real estate debt and equity investments with a focus on the German real estate market.
As an integrated investment manager with our own co-investment approach, we work along the entire value chain: from sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities to transaction and financing structuring through to active asset management, portfolio optimization and exit.
Against this background, we are looking for an analyst in the area of investment management with the following main areas of activity as soon as possible:
- Familiarization with the planning, implementation and ongoing support of capital market financing (including funds, equity, debt and hybrid financing instruments)
- Collaboration in the creation and further development of financial models, presentations and decision papers
- Support in the analysis and optimization of the existing portfolio, taking into account marketable key figures
- Ongoing monitoring of the portfolio and the capital markets as well as monitoring of key figures, risks and covenants and the preparation of relevant reports
- Participation in the analysis, implementation and ongoing development of the financing strategy, taking into account additional refinancing solutions to supplement the existing financing portfolio
- Supervision of due diligence processes, company audits, company and instrument ratings and ongoing dialog with service providers, rating agencies and investors
- Support in the implementation of cross-company project and special tasks
Your profile
- Successfully completed university studies in the field of economics, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study
- Ideally 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in the field of real estate investments or capital markets
- Knowledge of common valuation methods (e.g. DCF)
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office (including Excel and PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of financial databases (e.g. Bloomberg) is an advantage
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
- Independent working style combined with entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking as well as very good analytical and organizational skills
- High degree of initiative, reliability, perseverance and resilience
- Very good communication skills and a strong ability to work in a team
