As part of our strategic development and the consistent expansion of our service portfolio - especially for institutional clients - we are systematically expanding our expertise in asset management.

Asset Management bundles all operational functions at asset level and manages them in a targeted manner via defined budgets - with a clear focus on value creation, yield optimization and sustainable performance enhancement.

Your tasks:

• Analytical management of retail real estate portfolios: ongoing analysis of property yields, preparation of financial and cash flow models and analysis of performance (actual/plan comparisons, scenario and sensitivity calculations, portfolio comparisons).
• Preparation of reports for property owners and internal committees (earnings situation, occupancy rate, capex/opex, KPI dashboards) and preparation of decision papers for investment measures and letting strategies and revitalization projects
• Overall budget monitoring (CAPEX, OPEX, incentives), service charge and vacancy cost management and optimization of owner costs
• Implementation of property, market and risk analysis (tenant analyses, KPIs, benchmarks) and further development of IPH data and reporting tools
• Active participation in the development and implementation of property strategies, business plans and management concepts for value enhancement
• Supporting the Head of Asset Management in the central interface function between operational property management and the representatives of the asset owners

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies, e.g. real estate economics, business administration, economics, finance, real estate management or comparable.
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the real estate sector, ideally in asset management, investment or real estate controlling with reference to commercial real estate / retail properties.
• Very strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high affinity for figures, data and models.
• Very good knowledge of Excel (scenario and sensitivity analyses, financial models/DCF) and PowerPoint for creating decision papers and management presentations
• Good understanding of the value drivers of commercial and retail real estate (rents, vacancies, capex, ERV, yields) and interest in topics such as ESG, sustainability and revitalization.
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working, high reliability as well as strong team and communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
