Your tasks

• Independent operational and strategic management of commercial real estate in (Northern) Germany, currently with a focus on office properties
• Ensuring holistic property performance by selecting, managing and monitoring all relevant external partners and service providers, in particular property managers
• Identifying and realizing potential for value appreciation
• Preparing, coordinating and controlling property business plans, including intra-year forecasts and target/actual comparisons
• Supporting major tenants and securing long-term partnerships
• Preparing and supporting letting and investment decisions and conducting lease negotiations
• Managing the valuation processes including operational collaboration
• Ensuring complete and up-to-date portfolio documentation
• Support with internal and external reporting
• Developing, implementing and realizing ESG measures in collaboration with fund management, property management and external service providers
• Assisting with the purchase and sale processes for commercial properties
• Close cooperation with the fund and investment management departments
• Continuous market observation and participation in industry events
• Representation of our company in the relevant submarket

Your qualifications

• Completed studies in economics or law, architecture or a comparable real estate-related education
• Several years of professional experience in real estate or asset management
• Very good knowledge of the (northern) German real estate market, especially in the office real estate sector
• Sound knowledge of key economic figures, cash flow calculations and portfolio analyses
• Experience in negotiating rental, brokerage and service contracts
• Business fluent in German and English
• Independent and structured way of working as well as a pronounced willingness to take on responsibility
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills as well as strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident manner in a national and international environment
• Willingness to travel as well as a resilient, structured way of working and the willingness to work flexibly on different topics
