Expert in Sustainable Construction in Construction Project Management / Building Certification and Building Standards

Your responsibilities willinclude
- Supporting department and project managers in achieving climate-neutral construction goals in all project phases—for both existing and new construction projects—as well as in obtaining building certifications according to BNB and/or DGNB
- Coordinating project stakeholders to implement the necessary processes and document them
- Reviewing and developing sustainability concepts
- Providing technical guidance, supervision, and advice, as well as making decisions on fundamental, difficult, significant, and/or complex construction matters
- Advising department and project managers on technical issues and on aligning management strategies to ensure the success of construction projects with regard to sustainability
- Supporting department management in addressing the impacts of changes to building code requirements and their consequences for implementation
- Assisting with analyses and reports, as well as their preparation, regarding the construction budget/cash outflow and the budget management of the technical department
- Maintaining uniform construction standards with regard to sustainability and operational efficiency
- Building a “network” and fostering exchange with sustainability experts
- Promoting knowledge within the company through regular knowledge sharing on sustainability topics
What You Bring to the Table
- A completed academic degree in architecture or civil engineering, or alternatively, a comparable qualification
- Broad, practical knowledge of standards and requirements in the field of sustainability and building certifications such as BNB and/or DGNB
- Expertise in the interrelationships within the field of research construction
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, life cycle assessment, building biology, environmental protection, and life cycle analysis, as well as funding opportunities, is a plus
- Experience working with AI applications or a willingness to learn how to use such systems
- Very good IT user skills
- A strong analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach to work, combined with a goal-oriented work style, an eye for detail, and flexibility in handling new and changing tasks
- An open-minded personality with team spirit and strong communication skills
- Strong interest in sustainability trends and green building
- High commitment to customer service
- Ability to handle stress, flexibility, and mobility
- Very good written and spoken German, as well as good written and spoken English
What We Offer
As part of a permanent employment contract, we offer you compensation up to pay grade 14 of the TVöD (Federal Government) pay scale, depending on your qualifications and professional experience, as well as various benefits. You can find general information about salaries in the public sector pay scale (TVöD Federal). Your workplace is located in downtown Munich and is easily accessible by public transportation. Childcare options for children aged 6 months to 3 years are available near the office building.
