For this journey, we are seeking a sparring partner on equal footing who will work with us to tap into new revenue streams, rigorously evaluate business ideas, and consistently implement the best ones.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Further developing the business model:You’ll work with us to expand BHRE’s business model—from new revenue streams (e.g., family office mandates, digital services, new asset classes) to refining our core business.
  • Testing, validating—and discarding—ideas: You’ll turn hypotheses into experiments, validate them with real clients and market partners, and make evidence-based go/no-go decisions.
  • Build business cases that stand the test of time:You’ll model robust business models, including scenarios, sensitivities, and assumption tracking. You’ll understand not only the numbers but also the operational requirements for their implementation.
  • Drive concrete growth: You’llbring initiatives to fruition in collaboration with our digitalization team and line of business units, leveraging our existing infrastructure.
  • Expand partnerships: Youidentify, evaluate, and develop collaborations with PropTech companies, investors, industry partners, and, where applicable, acquisition targets.
  • Activate internal and external networks: You’revisible in the market and well-connected in startup, investor, and corporate circles; internally, you build strong relationships with executive management and business units.
  • Storyline for decision-makers:You prepare business model options ready for decision-making by senior management and relevant committees—clearly, honestly, and with recommendations. No flashy slides, just substance.

What You Bring to the Table

  • At least 6 years of professional experience with a clear blend of two worlds: strategy/analysis(top-tier consulting, corporate development, venture capital) and operational growth leadership (scale-up, corporate venture builder, in-house venturing). Pure consulting experience isn’t enough for us.
  • Solid methodological expertise in company building: businessmodel design, hypothesis-driven work, customer discovery, stage-gate logic for initiative portfolios, MVP testing. You’ll explain to us when to pivot and when to kill a project—and why.
  • Financial and operational acumen: Youdevelop in-depth business cases while also understanding what it takes operationally to bring them to life.
  • Your own network in at least one field relevant to us: real estate, PropTech, the investor/family office community, or the venture ecosystem.
  • Personality: Entrepreneurial, curious, critical in your thinking, and engaging in your actions. You can reject ideas without burning bridges. You speak your mind—even when it’s uncomfortable.
  • Familiarity with the real estate or construction industry is a plus, but not a requirement. A willingness to learn and the ability to move quickly matter more than industry experience.
  • Business-fluent in German, good command of English. You’ll work with senior management and international partners.
