The Traffic Structures and Areas department ensures the sustainable operation and economic management of central infrastructure - including roads on campus (36 km), engineering structures (75 units), green spaces (approx. 400 ha), tunnels (6 units) and extensive parking areas on campus (approx. 36,000 parking spaces). In this responsible role, you will actively shape the economic and strategic development of this complex infrastructure portfolio and make a significant contribution to the long-term value retention and performance of the campus. Making a difference with us - the tasks
- As the owner, you will be responsible for the landside infrastructure portfolio of Airport City as well as the role of road construction authority and client and ensure the safe, economical and sustainable operation of the assigned traffic and infrastructure objects.
- You will manage and coordinate construction, maintenance and expansion measures, take responsibility for projects over their entire life cycle and ensure that deadlines, costs and quality targets are met.
- You act as a central interface for internal and external stakeholders and manage requirements, approval processes and coordination with planners, authorities, operators and service units.
- You develop strategies to maintain the value and further develop the infrastructure portfolio and derive measures to ensure functionality, quality and future viability.
- You are commercially responsible for your portfolio, prepare the basis for decisions and profitability analyses and monitor budgets, investments and the development of costs and performance.
To take off - the necessary qualifications
- You have a degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, industrial engineering and construction or an equivalent real estate-specific course of study.
- You have relevant professional and practical experience in the field of transportation and infrastructure projects and have sound knowledge of traffic and road planning as well as road construction.
- You have several years of experience in the project management of complex construction and infrastructure measures across all project phases and are confident in the application of construction and planning law, in particular VOB and HOAI.
- You think and act in a cross-divisional and strategic manner and have strong business management skills in order to make well-founded decisions for the sustainable development and management of the portfolio.
- You communicate clearly, appropriately and confidently - also in dealings with authorities and approval bodies - and impress with your negotiating skills and confident manner.
- A very good command of German and English and your agreement to a legally required background check round off your profile.

- Remuneration in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD). The annual salary including annual special payment ranges between 69,000 and 86,000 euros, depending on relevant professional experience and qualifications.
