The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate company, which supports the real estate policy goals of the federal government and provides the necessary land and buildings for almost all federal authorities. You will head the Facility Management Head Office of the Federal Real Estate Agency. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure property management for our customers in Berlin and actively shape the real estate management of the future in this central position.
These are your tasks:
- Assume leadership and responsibility: As head office manager of the Facility Management division, you will manage and lead the staff and organization of the head office. Your top priority is to complete tasks efficiently, deploy staff appropriately and in line with their tasks and thus achieve the Federal Agency's objectives in the best possible way.
- Support with expertise: You will represent the Head Office and the interests of the entire BImA both internally and externally, using your extensive personal network to good effect. Within BImA, you will act as an interface to other divisions at regional level. As a specialist contact person, you will support individual cases in overarching matters or with trend-setting significance.
- Live negotiation and cooperation: You conclude target agreements with the Executive Board and divisional management as well as with the department heads or property management team and construction management team heads of your head office. You strategically align the head office to these targets, manage resources and take responsibility for the results.
- Leading communication and negotiations: You are a strong communicator and lead complex negotiations with our clients, contracting parties and other third parties.
- Shaping sustainable development: You will be responsible for drawing up construction programs on site and implementing the measures in close coordination with the responsible building authorities. In doing so, you will ensure compliance with a construction standard that guarantees the realization of climate-neutral and barrier-free buildings at a high level of quality.
- Responsible for operations and construction projects: Together with your property management teams (OMT), you will be responsible for operations, maintenance and simple construction measures and, together with the responsible construction management teams (BMT), you will implement the construction projects for the properties managed by the head office.

What you bring with you:
- You have a university degree (Master's/University Diploma) with a focus on economics, construction, technology or law or a comparable academic qualification.
- You have extensive specialist knowledge and practical experience in the field of real estate management and property management.
- You have experience in the implementation of construction projects, ideally for the public sector.
- You are motivated to take on management tasks and have already gained management experience in a leading or responsible position.
- You are characterized by an independent and service-oriented way of working and a high sense of responsibility. You also have strong organizational and communication skills as well as a high degree of social competence and personnel management qualities.
- Your motivation to lead property management on a sustainable and forward-looking course rounds off your profile. You enjoy working intensively and constructively with our service users.
- You have the gender competence required for the position and consistently implement the objectives of the Federal Equal Opportunities Act.
- You have a class B driver's license and are willing to drive a company car.
